live at the O2 academy
Sometimes you get unexpected surprises in your life. We had not long played our first show with our new boy Marty, when we get a message asking if we wanted a support slot at the O2 Academy, playing with the mighty Skindred!
This was not our first time on a big stage but we were overwhelmed by the amount of people who piled into the venue so early. What a night it was!
It was also a pleasure to meet the guys from Sonic Boom Six who were brilliant on stage. Of course, the highlight of the night was watching Skindred play. They have such an energy on stage it in infectious! The crowd just couldn´t get enough. Such an honour to play the same stage as these guys.
meeting benji
We already knew it, but Benji from Skindred is a total dude. We enjoyed some beers with the guys in Skindred back stage and Benji dropped in on us to hang out and tell us some tales from his life both on and off the road! He is one of the good ones! A true gent!
It was indeed a night to remember and we are looking forward to more.
