Ballsdeep at Atomic with Scare Tactics

Ballsdeep bring their “Road to Hammerfest” to Atomic (former Rewind) at Wrexham

Stoke-on-Trent based Ballsdeep formed in January 2011 from the ashes of three well established UK bands.
Since recording and releasing their debut E.P ‘CHRISTIE’ in 2012 the band have been gigging with bands such as M.O.D., Stampin’ Ground, Beholder, Evile, Viking Skull, Huntress, Mercy House, to name but a few. Making waves with fans and venues all round the UK, Ballsdeep have released three videos that have been getting regular play on sky music channel Propeller TV on their show ‘Metal Tuune’.
The band released their debut album A THOUSAND NIGHTS at BLOODSTOCK 2013 where they played a very successful set on the Jager stage. The debut at Bloodstock was met very well and has quickly launched the band into playing even more gigs all over the UK as well as an extensive UK tour.
2014 saw Ballsdeep play the S.O.P.H.I.E. stage at Bloodstock Festival, being the first band to play the weekend to a packed out tent of 3000+ people.

Having completed a very successful co-headlining tour of the UK with Internal Conflict, Ballsdeep recorded and released their second album ‘…and on the eighth day’ and are now set to play main stage at HRH Metal and main stage at Hammerfest 2018

With support from

Pelugion

Pelugion are a three-piece hard rock / metal band from Coventry, England who first met in college September 2012 whilst studying music performance.

Since the beginnings of the band, Pelugion have gigged heavily around England with an arsenal of original songs, won a slot at the UK’s biggest free family festival, inked a management deal with UK based FATangel management and released a lyric video for the song ‘Serpents Mistress’.

The band’s latest release ‘Bide My Time’ (2016) was produced, mixed and mastered at Woodworm studios by Mike Exeter who has worked with such legends as Black Sabbath, Dio and Judas Priest, this brought them to the attention of Wildfire Festival Scotland where Pelugion performed In 2016.

Pelugion are busy writing and recording for their second as yet untitled EP, recording once again with Mike Exeter, but also taking time to keep gigging as much as possible. The latest gigs for the band have included a performance at the SOLD-OUT HRH Metal at the O2 Academy in Birmingham plus a tour with South Wales’ heavyweights Lifer.
Early 2018 will see Pelugion heading back to South Wales to join Lifer once more for the Welsh leg of the popular Dementia Aware Fest.

Scare Tactics (UK based Metal)

Scare Tactics are a Liverpool based band bringing back a slice of old school metal with a whole new approach. They mix melodic and aggressive vocals with powerful and memorable riffs. Their impressive dual guitar harmonies wail over a heavy grooving rhythm section. Formed in 2010, Scare Tactics have played many prestigious venues & shows around the UK, including Bloodstock Festival in 2012 & Download Festival in 2015. They have also supported great metal bands like Tyketto, Hatebreed and Kobra & The Lotus. After the success of their EP ‘Ages’ their premier album ‘Legion’ was launched in June 2015.  Also in 2015, they released a video of their first single ‘Little Time’ and they have just  released their second video, ‘Remain’. Now they are working on new songs and hitting the stage.

Redwood Avenue

Bryn and Jamie established Redwood Avenue in 2013; as a 4 piece band with a mixture of punk, rock and metal. Aled was later to join that year replacing Fred as a vocalist. 2015 saw the band parting with their bassist Osian and replacing him with Dan, a friend from the area. Mitch was soon to follow to complete the band. We have played various gigs around North Wales; receiving very positive feedback at every show. Our sound has evolved, now sounding aggressive, progressive and melodic at the same time. We have grown closer as songwriters which has contributed to our sound as we draw upon many influences as individuals.

We gig regularly between jobs and have grown in confidence and hunger. Music is a passion for us. We throw so much emotion, time and dedication to writing and practicing, it makes us tight live and we bring plenty of energy without letting the performance suffer. We are ready to give this a proper try.

To have a chance to connect with more people through the medium of music and even deeper through live shows is a massive opportunity.

to make it work professionally has been a life-long ambition for each of us.
